ASU (Senior) Process Engineer (No.LD140827)
PURPOSE
The purpose of this position is to spread best operating practices across RGC ASU operations and support the RBU to ensure continuous improvements in safety, reliability, efficiency with a main focus to support ASU plant business development.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Have a detailed technical understanding of all the RGC ASU plants
- Provide operations support during the commercialisation process of new and decapitated ASU & merchant plants, including consultancy to BD during the conceptual phase (including business case operations assumptions review ), design review support (P&ID, hazop, design reviews etc) site integration, commissioning management, and training
- Provide expert technical support to help the performance of assets improve within RGC to exceed budget requirements and reach best in class operation
- Can utilize all performance tools (e.g. Daily Report, Power model, PER-Online, Data Historian trending, elog loading plan etc.) To identify and analyze reliability and performance gaps
- Lead programs for improvements in safety, reliability and operational efficiency of RGC ASU plants (e.g. Pers, HPO initiatives and safety & reliability audits)
- Has technical competence to critically review and provide feedback on Engineering Management of Change applications
- Provide technical support to all RGC ASU plants through troubleshooting and start-up support
- Develop and facilitate operational experience exchange across RGC and implement best operating practices and guidelines which are in-line with global operations standards & Limms
- RGC contact for issues relating to ASU operations for the global operations tech centres
- Collect and provide feedback from RGC operating experience to global operations tech. Centres/ASU Product management/LEH/LEM to help develop and maintain specifications for standard requirements and product definitions, and improve reliability of new plant design
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- University degree in an engineering discipline (preferred)
- 5+ (10+) years of plant operations or related expertise (seniority of role assessed depending on candidate expertise)
- Experience in engineering and project execution
- Fundamental understanding of the equipment and processes within ASU plants, with focus on cryogenic air separation and adsorption
- Good analytical and quantitative skills
- Good networking and communication skills
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Excellent English language skills (preferred but not critical)
